Well, I figured it was about high time I posted on here again.
In case you hadn't all figured it out, the novelty of the blog wore off really quickly. That or I am so busy with school and work that if I'm not doing either of those things, I'm sleeping, eating, or doing something off the computer to rest my eyes. Lol.
It's been a hectic couple of weeks. I'm trying to finish up highschool for good, and I just booked my last exam so I can now officially say that in 15 days time (which is SO close it's kind of scaring me) I won't be a highschool student anymore. I'm sure THAT will take a few days to sink in.
Before then, however, I have to write a short story, a children's book, a final history essay, make a tourism itinerary website, do a business assignment, do a world issues assignment, do my world issues final project, and study and do 2 exams.
Good fun. Today I'm tackling the short story.
Tonight I'm going to see Oliver! at the Stratford Festival Theatre. For a number of years now (ever since I started) AMDEC has been given free tickets to see one of Stratford's plays at the end of the year. So far I've seen The King and I, Anything Goes, The Tempest, and now Oliver! all for free. Lol, it's a pretty sweet deal, and one incentive to do online school. :P
I've been thinking a lot about my online school experience recently, as I am coming to the end of it, and have decided that just doing online school for all of highschool is not a good plan. Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed doing online school, I have earned good marks, and have learned a ton, but at the same time, I think highschool students need the variety. Plus, plagiarism and cheating are much to easy (not that I cheat, I'm a good girl :P) If I was to do it again I'd do more night school and some correspondence too - just to balance out the online. Too much typing isn't good for you. You need to know how to talk and explain things as much as you need to know how to type and write things out. In my opinion anyways.
Anyways, that's my little update for you. Profound, I know. Don't expect much blogging until the 17th though, because until then I'm going to be pretty busy. Adios all and thanks for reading!

i hope you enjoyed oliver too... i love musicals with all my heart, and thats a good one :)
so hectic schedules... definitely know the feeling. but keep plugging away cuz we're almost there!!! its pretty exciting. im excited i think, not scared. but i get to take next year offish, i think if i was going to uni in the fall id be more nervous.
as for variety in highschool... another agreeance here. i did a couple online and a couple correspondence, but i definitely think if i were to do it again id do some other things too. too much sitting in my basement really.
well good luck on all that schoolwork, im sure you'll do splendidly :)
