Four....

I found this questionnaire only on another blog and thought it was kind of cool. It's not as hard as the 7 things one and more detailed than the 3 one. Also, I'm done exams for reading week so I have time to waste filling out a survey. Here goes! :)

Four jobs I have had in my life:
1. Lots of private self-employed stuff like babysitting, tutoring, etc. It's all fun, and I still enjoy it.
2. VON Support Worker - I took out a boy with difficulties, had some fun, gave his mom a break. It was definitely a real learning experience but a great opportunity.
3. Wendy's "Crew Member". It sounds so special and neat, but really, I'm pretty sure it was the worst job I've ever had. If you don't have to, don't ever work in fast food. That said, I think everyone should so that they know what we poor hamburger-makers go through in a day. "I'm sorry, you didn't say you didn't want pickles, let me get you a new one." "NO - LET ME SPEAK TO YOUR MANAGER". Okay... *sigh*
4. Pier 1 Imports Sales associate. I'm still there for the moment, and despite more rich and snobby people walking all over me because I wear an apron and am in retail, it's a decent job. The people I work with make it amazing. :D

Four movies I would watch over and over:
1. Pride and Prejudice. When I bought the newer version I watched it as soon as I bought it, watched the special features, and then watched it again. I think Joel pretty much had a stroke out of shock. But hey, if you haven't seen the movie, you need to watch it.
2. A Walk to Remember. Okay, come on. It's a classic. Yes, it's a chick flick, but it's a definite classic.
3. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy... I must say, I love those movies. They're amazingly written and the cinematography and music is equally amazing.
4. Sahara. There are a lot of movies I watch over and over, but this has got to be one of the ones that I will never get sick of. This and National Treasure. I seem to have a soft spot for treasure-hunting movies, and I also find the sidekicks hilariously funny.

Four places I have lived:
Okay this is pretty sad. I have never lived anywhere other than London, ON, and for the first 17 years of my life I lived on a court. We moved 2 years ago to our current house. My living experience is pretty boring.

Four TV shows I love to watch:
1. Smallville... I'm pretty much addicted, though I haven't seen anything past the end of season 4 yet. We'll see if they stay as good...
2. CSI, Law and Order, etc. I like the mystery ones that keep you guessing until the end.
3. ...
4. ...
I honestly don't watch that much TV. I'm more of a movie person, and we also don't have cable. Those things combined, I can't really say any other really favourite TV shows.

Four places I have been on vacation:
1. The East Coast - PEI, Nova Scotia, Cape Breton Island, etc. It was AMAZING. I'd love to go back.
2. Various states in the US... the most recent being Virginia.
3. BC!! Amazingly beautiful... there just wasn't enough time to soak in the beauty. Also another place I'd love to go back to.
4. Muskoka area... we went up there a bunch of summers for family vacation and definitely made some good memories in the process.

Four Favorite foods:
1. Ice cream. I'm not going to lie, I love ice cream
2. Mashed potatoes (Becky - one thing you and I definitely have in common)
3. Spaghetti, Lasagna, Fettuccine... I adore ALL Italian food - I'd love to go to Italy someday and eat it there :)
4. Various fruits - especially strawberries. Mm... I'm hungry now.

Anyways, that was fun. Now you know some random stuff about me! Adios all!

So this is what's important in our world...

Don't bother trying to watch the news tonight for anything important. Take my word for it. I tried.

Instead of news, I got the scoop on Britney Spears and her new "look" - namely, a bald head and a tattoo. I switched to a different channel, and guess what I got? The same story.

Why do I care about this? Oh right... I don't. And since I DON'T - why is it getting prime time news coverage instead of news that is relevant and important to my life? Not quite sure.

Woohoo for the increasingly superficial world we live in.
